The Abadam Arms lies on the old A48 road between Carmarthen and Cross Hands.

      From Carmarthen, take the A48 at the B&Q roundabout. After 7 miles, look out for the left hand turn to The National Botanic Garden. At the roundabout, take the right turn to Porthyrhyd, passing under the A48.

      From Cross Hands, take the A48 to Carmarthen and take the left hand turn to Porthyrhyd (B4310) near the Botanic Garden.

      Carry on a further half mile to Porthyryd. The Abadam Arms is ahead of you as you reach the old road. There is plenty of parking at the rear.
